Electrical vs. Mechanical Engineering. What its your opinion?

>> No.4243856

Aren't it the same thing?

Double major now or regret it later like me.

Which one is closer to physics? That will be the best.

not sure, i guess EE

One is applied mechanics and the other is applied electromagnetism. But they're both useful as a bag of fucks, and I doubt OP is worried about how "pure" his pursuit is.

Mechanical.
Simply because I just went through community college to become a technologist, and now I have a small team of EE's under me and they are all worthless as fuck.

Mechanical is for steampunk faggots.

Okay, semi-legit advice is:

if you took AP physics C in high school, you should be able to easily decide whether you like mech or E+M more. If not, either take some general engineering classes for MechE and EE for a semester or so, or just google and search/ask around. I don't know the specifics of either, so I'm going to say that I do.

Chemical Engineering is the only kind of engineering that isnt complete shit

Btw a Math major is more queer than any type of engineering, who the fuck sits around doing math for the sake of math (answer: a queer)
