So, you guys are supposedly good at math, how would you fix America's extreme 16 trillion deficit?

Easy, Tax the rich. Go back to the normal tax code (no more of this werid bush tax cut shit).

That is the simpliest way. Anyother questions?

Its the easiest and most effiecnt way, technically. You have a better idea. Also, that guy is useless and was so bad that he took himself out of the race.

Doesn't that just cause the corporations to move somewhere with better tax rates?

You can't fix a broken society with math.

Or economics. Or politics. Or anything else for that matter. Our civilization is doomed. Let it pass. We'll begin anew.

Yes that might work, if we were not already so deep in debt. it would centuries this way. As I have already said, the easiest way is just to wipe the slate clean.

Sure you can.
Armed mobs + untenable situation = change.

Sure, the change would be akin to fixing a broken engine with a hand grenade, the problem would be gone, but the system would be gone with it.

But you can't have everything with easy fixes.

The system isn't beyond repair. The system actually works great, it it is used like it was intended.

The problem is not the system. The problem is the people. The people have become dumbfucks. They vote for dumbfucks, and dumbfuck laws. It isn't that hard to understand. All systems will collapse if the "common" man is a dumbfuck.

Education of the masses is the only way to correct things. That will take a while.

Ok I see what you mean, but every single person who attains power even if mean not to abuse it still eventually end up doing it anyway. Its just how people are. Humans what abominations. All they want is more power no matter how you get around its true.

If you want some form of "representative" governement, and your society is still dumb as as fuck, then a coup de main WON'T FUCKING WORK. It wouldn't work right now in america, becuase you would get even more stupid people, making even stupider laws. You will just replace one group of morons, with another (probably dumber group). You will still get the same fucking problems (or worse)! The only way to actually fix the problems is to educate people, so they can make better decisions!

Unless you just want to install a dictatorship, or something (in which case the intellect of the people doesn't matter).

>> No.4219131

>>4219113
It really depends who the dictator is.
Someone like me would be a great dictator, mainly because I reaaalllyy don't want to be a dictator.

I'd rather study stuff...
but I know a lot about politics and history and science, so I'd actually do a good job without becoming too power hungry.

>> No.4219158

>>4219113
I was implying a dictatorship. I don't think democracy works in larger systems, especially when the people are uneducated.

Going to all that trouble to clandestinely inhume or remove every corporate, political, religious and populist leader just to give it up for the lowest bidder? No way.

Also, we need a totally infallible lie-detector so we can determine who can be trusted with power. And yes, there are those who don't want power for their own sake, but to rule for the good of all. But to find them, and to convince others of their character, we'd need that infallible lie-detector.
