Hello my fellow /sci/...

I was going to ask a simple question that has been bothering me for the last few months.

Is there any relationship between the belly button and the groin region?

Yes, it might sound strange, but what i noticed was that whenever i poked or scratched my bellybutton, a strange tingly feeling appears around my genitalia, and it almost feels like someone is IV feeding me electricity. As far as I know my two other friends (guys) also feel it but my other friend (chick) doesn't. So is that weird or is there some real scientific answer?

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one. My friends thought I was retarded when I asked them.
I don't know the actual answer by the way.

I have a similar issue

I have this too, im not an expert on this, but the fact that it was a cord attached to the placenta before birth which fed and nourished you, id assume it has connections through out the body

>> No.4217519

femanon here, if i scratch the inside of my bellybutton with, say, a fingernail, i feel the same thing.

I get awful pains sometimes, often caused by standing up to fast, that start in my bellybutton and shoot straight into my penis, it hurts really bad. I've heard it's genetical and my dad has that too, but I have it a lot more. So I believe there is a connection between the two in some sense.

And yeah, retard browsing /sci/ because it's interesting, never posted before but I had too now.

Everyone on /sci/ are retarded. It is honestly the worst board on 4chan.

yes! but for me it tingles my prostate.
WHY!?!

>> No.4217550

maybe thats why so many people have a bellybutton fetish

Nope, I wish I could be good at math and science like most people here. I'm pretty fucking useless when it comes to comprehend big picture stuff.

Stab in the dark here, but because during your growth in the womb, almost everything originated from the cord thingy, and so every nerve is connected to your belly button. And where are the most nerve endings? on your flagpole right?

Just guessing though.

I understand that but then wouldn't that mean that it should also be affecting your lips, your fingers, your ears, and possibly other places too?

Picture relates greatly btw, it is a person drawn to scale according to nerve endings (sense of touch)

It's pretty bad.

Lets not kid ourselves though, /soc/ is clearly the worst board. /pol/ is up there too.

>> No.4217627

The only connection I have between my genitals and my belly button is when I jerk off in bed, and my belly button turns into a semen repository.

>The bellybutton.

All I know is it's the human bodies center of gravity.

I guess, but because they are electrical signals and take the road of least resistance by default, they would rather go down to the dick then up to the lips, cuz the dick is closer. Unless they are exclusively meant for the lips, in the case of licking your lips or whatever.

Another guess.

Implying /b/ doesn't exist...

Haven't thought of that. But you have a good point.

>genetical

Anyways OP, I think it has to do with referred pain. Maybe. Or a nerve to your dick passes through there behind the belly button.

>> No.4217653

i made a thread like this on /b/ (because i didnt feel like it was /sci/ related) i cant remember its something about there being a nerve between the groin and belly button

/b/ is highly polite and informative. It recovered after the newfags that came due to loli'msoedgy XD left for reddit.

It really isn't as bad as /soc/ and /pol/.

On /soc/ everyone is a camwhore, everyone.

On /pol/ everyone is using a political stance to troll. Just trolls trolling trolls trolling RON PAUL 2012.

Eh, each person is a world. For instance, yesterday we opened up a certain deceased individual's abdomen and he had his epigastric artery replaced by the intercostal arteries. This is most likely one of such individual differences.

I have a spot on my chest where, if I scratch it, my chin feels like someone is sticking a pin in it. V.strange.
