when you inject testosterone into your body that was not formed in your body, your body backs off on its testosterone production due to its newfound (easy) acquisition of test. therefore, the test you were formerly producing (on your own) will be diminished by its counterpart.

Test supplements are safe with careful cycling, low dosage, and short-term usage. You should do some heavy-duty research before you start a cycle though, because you could end up growing tits or becoming sterile if you mess it up. /fit/ knows more about this than /sci/ does.
