Its practically impossible, textbooks are the biggest example of intellectual property dickery left on the face on the planet. The irony when a microeconomics textbook explaining the damaging effects of intellectual property on prosperity is only available from a single source and costs $160 is enough to make me want to set fire to things.

India, where they sell the same textbooks in paperback for about 10% of the price you pay in the US. My Asian friends all bought theirs via ebay this way.
