Human biology is just one small part of biology.

Usually people here say that it it not a hard science.

I have seen it posted here quite a lot, perhaps it is not just trolls.
It is more about memorisation than some of the other sciences.

Geology deals with softer rocks and soil and shit also; mineralogy is only about the hard stuff. therefore mineralogy is superior

I would say math or physics
but I might be mistaking 'hardest' for most basic

I mean, this entire thread is based on an incorrect usage of a word and each person may have a different opinion on what 'hardness' of a science means

No really. Science is the art and practice of learning about observable phenomena by creating models that offer falsifiable predictions that are in agreement with the evidence, that have withstood genuine attempts at falsification.

Math has nothing to do with evidence nor falsification.

Formal Scienses are formal sciences. any fucking link that explain them would work.
But provided that you can't google shit i will post the wiki's link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formal_science
Fuck, not even a dissambiguation button.

As we both know, "science" is a term with some different but related meanings. One definition of science, to which you linked, is merely "the study of knowledge" more or less. A more narrow definition is empirical sciences only. The most common usage of the term science refers to empirical sciences, as evident in the name of this board "Science & Math" which implies that they are distinct, non-overlapping concepts.

I have no further interest in this useless argument over definition.
