Snow patrol.

I have no idea why but I love doing maths while listening to snow patrol.

John Cage's 4'33 is invigorating. I usually have it on repeat all day.

You mean programming.

I don't understand the language she sings in, but its very beautiful. I already know the heart sutra, so tis nothing new to me.

Nothing too heavy or word oriented; even though it's best to not have any music playing when studying, I still do most of the time.

Nothing. If I pay attention to the music at all, I have difficulty doing math of any appreciable difficulty. If I can't pay any attention to it, it does me no good to have it playing. Some neurologists have demonstrated that math and music are processed by a lot of the same structures, so it makes sense that they would interfere with each otheer if you were trying to wholly focus on one or the other.

If I'm doing basic stuff that doesn't require focus, I just listen to whatever I would already have playing anyway. No special math music.
