When will we be able to synthesize food from rocks?

rocks arn't organic; theres no carbon in rocks, there is always carbon in food.

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha.

If that was the case, we couldn't do radioactive dating, you stupid bitch. Also, minerals are "rocks." Diamonds are a mineral. GTFO, retard. Oh, and so is graphite.

carbon dating is done on fossils IIRC, and they are in rock (sedimentary rock) but the actual rock itself doesnt have carbon in it when its formed.

Radiometric dating (often called radioactive dating) is a technique used to date materials such as rocks, usually based on a comparison between the observed abundance of a naturally occurring radioactive isotope and its decay products, using known decay rates.[1] It is the principal source of information about the absolute age of rocks and other geological features, including the age of the Earth itself, and can be used to date a wide range of natural and man-made materials. Together with stratigraphic principles, radiometric dating methods are used in geochronology to establish the geological time scale.[2] Among the best-known techniques are radiocarbon dating, potassium-argon dating and uranium-lead dating. By allowing the establishment of geological timescales, it provides a significant source of information about the ages of fossils and the deduced rates of evolutionary change. Radiometric dating is also used to date archaeological materials, including ancient artifacts

the whole argument is that rocks have carbon because Radiometric dating is used on them, which somehow means only radiocarbon dating and not things like uranium-lead dating. how is that a logical argument? even though uranium-lead dating is even mentioned in the link used to support this insane argument.

>> No.4092588

SILICON CARBIDE
CALCIUM CARBONATE
ANY OTHER CARBONATE
ANY OTHER CARBIDE
DIAMOND
GRAPHITE
COAL
AND ORGANIC MATERIALS, LIKE FOSSILS AND FOSSILIZED WOOD, CONTAIN CARBON THAT INDICATE TIME OF DEATH. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO DATE SEDIMENTARY LAYERS, BECAUSE MINERAL FORMATION IS NOT IDENTICAL WITH ROCK FORMATION IN MANY INSTANCES. ON THE OTHER HAND, TIME OF DEATH MUST COINCIDE WITH ROCK FORMATION, BECAUSE OTHERWISE ALL ORGANIC MATERIAL WOULD HAVE ALREADY ROTTED.

THAT IS WHY RADIOCARBON DATING IS DONE ON ROCKS.

ALSO, WE MAKE FERTILIZER OUT OF OIL, WHICH IS BASICALLY A LIQUID MINERAL, SO WE KINDA DO MAKE FOOD OUT OF ROCKS.

you should get that looked at, before it kills you or something. I know a friend who is a computer engineer who was fine and then one day lost hear hearing in a coding accident involving python. He was fine right after it but 2 days latter, BAM. his wife cheated on him, he always lies in the bed facing away from her when he reeds Ben 10 fanfics so he didn't even notice it until the following morning when he and his wife did their bi-weekly urine and vinegar play when he realized her vagina tasted like his brothers cum. after that he lost his house and his kids to a fire he started on his wife after she tried explaining that his brother was giving her CPR but he got confused and did it in the wrong hole with his penis. but he couldn't hear it become of the loss of his ears. now he works at some consulting company testing urine for excessive amount of vinegar from those packets you get at KFC to optimize vinegar distribution in the tristate area. not a very well paying job for someone who cant hear how much he is making.

False: Portals are explicitly stated to not affect momentum. “Speedy thing goes in. Speedy thing goes out.” Its inertial status does not change whatsoever by merely going through a portal. All changes are the result of outside forces. If you messed up this early, then there’s something wrong with you.
