does anyone on here use LaTeX to take notes in mathematics lectures? Are you able to get everything down fast enough? I was thinking of learning it, but if i ultimately won't be able to use it in lectures there isn't much point trying at the moment. Cheers for any info on the matter

I take note is a notebook like a normal human being.
I transcribe them into TeX as I review them, which (1)ensures I actually go ever them and (2) gets the stuff into muscle memory a second way.

Plus it looks nicer.

No. That would be really error-prone.

If it's any consolation, you're likely going to have to learn TeX sooner or later. It only takes an afternoon to get the basics.
