Is there any proof of parallel universes existing?
Is Everett's it really the most commonly held interpretation of QM among physicists?

I'm a layman so try to dumb it down please.
Pic unrelated.

No, none. Sorry, you'll have to exist in this reality or some subset of it.

>> No.4073432

not if the parallel is lieral js

>> No.4073438

Most physicists don't care about interpretations, just results.

I'm actually glad. The idea is a little upsetting.
It just sounds so counterintuitive that it's difficult to take it seriously without some incredible evidence.

wat

the parallel just maybe be the other side of the universe ? :P

Is this
a) bad trolling
b) poor english
c) sheer idiocy
d) mix a, b and c

>> No.4073551

and i was saying parallel would be more literal as in if the big bang happened which it did there most likely is a magnetic opposite from the opposite composition and the magneticbarrers also i guess :PP

He probably wants us to ragespam the email address.
Hey faggot, it's not gonna work.

That's sad.
Why doing so in /x/ then? I cannot think of a board where he would have a higher possibility to fail.

No evidence whatsoever. Some so-called scientists are trying to bring in such crap to make a few speculations and alternative theories work, but they just don't have any evidence, and from their proposals there's no means by which an experiment can be devised and constructed to obtain that evidence.

It's a dead issue. Unfortunately, the string "theorists" have too large a following and they are surrounded by an aura of false legitimacy.
