This is more of a question about academia, but bear with me.

I graduated off a full tuition scholarship for a BA in psychology. Mostly because philosophy didn't have the range of opportunities. I wanted the best 'jack of all trades' education I could get. While at college, I worked in the tech department. Became familiar with technology and dabbled with electronics and carpentry.

I'm becoming more interested in physics and engineering, and have thought of pursuing it so I can get a foot in the door to knowledge about the universe. My question is: would people be impressed by an engineer with a social sciences degree in addition, or am I just a twit who wasted a wonderful opportunity?

Probably not. The base 'jack of all trades' major you could have taken was mathematics; that would have gotten you in the door.

Psychology uses statistical tests like a whore uses makeup. I know some maths.

>jack of all trades
>psychology

NOPE.
If you wanted a jack of all trades, you should have got a math degree, and possibly a physics degree.

Psychology or philosophy is by no means a "jack of all trades" degree.

You only know basic stats...
YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT!

The sad part is you are ignorant and stupid. You actually think basic stats are worth a shit. You may as well just say you know High school algebra...LMFAO.

Jack of All Trades was a poor choice of words, I think. I meant a field that would yield a wide area of study (more akin with a classical education that public school couldn't give me). Psychology had that. Studied social interactions, statistics, scientific methodology, neuroscience...hell, even got alittle bit of law from a forensic psychology course. Supplemented with alittle art and history, it felt like the widest range of study I could get.

Does that make more sense?

WTF OP?
Did your college not have "core classes"?

Everyone gets alittle of everything. Stop being such a fucking slacker.

The only thing that makes sense in this thread is you being a fucking retard. No wonder you want to go into engineering.

Question: Is there a bachelor of arts that uses more math than psychology?
