what if...now bear with me...just what if...we orbit around the sun..

>> No.3992570

What if your wife orbits my dick?

>> No.3992584

We don't technically orbit around the sun; we orbit around a point very near the sun since the Earth still exerts a gravitational pull.

>> No.3992651 [DELETED]

>>3992584
actually, that exact point is still IN the sun, just not the dead centre. (suns radius is so large, that it encompasses the centre of earth/sun mass)

I'm not just repeating what that guy said. It actually applies.

I've often seen creationists do what can only be described as dishonesty. How many times do you need to tell someone that evolution isn't supposed to produce crockoducks before them saying "evolution is wrong because there are no crockoducks" becomes dishonest?

What if the sun fell out of orbit and was heading towards Earth?

>> No.3992858

>>3992839
the sun is stationary. no?

no galaxies and solar systems move in the space they occupy? i never knowed this

it doesn't matter, lrn2relavity. also univ. is expanding (hehe right?), so of course everything is moving to some degree.

when you are so sure you are right, you dont even consider the other persons point of view, and dont analyse it or take it into account. "i KNOW you are wrong, therefore what you say is wrong, and not worth my time, because its all lies"
i'm guilty of this myself, except in most cases i usually AM right, so i dont suffer perma-ignorance for it.
in matters of religion, i almost certainly AM right, but i still listen intently just so i can counter is effectively. (i argue for the side of atheism, obviously)

erm yeh. lol, everyone is right most of the time. being wrong more than 50% of the time would be fucking laughable! nobody would ever take you seriously.
