Who wants to live forever?

Forever. Even after every star has died.

Better than dying, right?

>> No.3962796

No organism that we know as "alive" would be able to survive in the conditions you mentionned.

I'll take death at a ripe old age please.

...and beyond that it's 'welcome to the heat death of the universe'. There is no forever for any of us.

What if the Universe is just compacting and compacting from gravity. The filamentation of it shows this. If it keeps up at this rate it is clear that it's going to keep compacting from Dark Energy/Matter which will probably keep it in place until it reaches a critical point where it becomes so dense that it reaches nay I say it a singularity! *gasp* Therefore it's safe to assume that there is going to be quite a lot of Space left....unless of course some shocking change of Events causes it to start all over (if you know what I mean) So every star "dying" doesn't seem too bad in the long run. Keep in mind when a star dies it leaves a legacy it launches space dust into the fabric of the cosmos spurring more room for life. It's beautiful isn't it OP?

Living forever as a zero point energy powered machine...perfect.

not intersted, OP. I'd rather die at 60-70 while I'm still vivid and still not bored (which seems pretty difficult)
Go fuck yourself with a supernova
