yeah this is actually a legit question because it comes from not having a childhood I think, and it might be that your ego hasn't set in yet. So basically it's an unset ego, and your not sure who you are or what you want to do. Forgot the DSM term but I think it's an unset ego

Here's the thing. This 'person' has Social Anxiety Disorder. But. Aside from the casual symptoms (extreme shyness, quiet, self conscious, uncontrollable shaking, constant anxiety, paranoia, awkward personality/ situations, etc.), as an unexpected symptom, the subjects mind levels it's maturity level to fit a social encounter between themselves and an older person(s). Since the subject does not have the maturity level of someone their own age, the subject can't socially conform to a crowd of people of the same age or older, so in order to avoid awkward social effects, the mind reverts a child like state to avoid making the other subjects uncomfortable. The subject cannot control it. it just happens. I'm not sure if this makes sense..
