This pony fags are just horrible.

it's got to be a combination of predisposing personality factors mixed with exposure to the material. the lady who works in my office is an animal lover and has other related personality quirks but doesn't use the internet save for sending email joke messages. I'm pretty positive if she was exposed to furry "art" she'd be into it.

Disney's "robin hood" was one of the two videocassettes i owned as a kid and i watched the shit out of it, but never got interested in furry stuff for a second.

> Why do furries exist?
Furries don't exist. People who pretend to be furries and draw pictures of them do. And that's because being human is harder than being an animal, and the most defective humans aren't up to the task.

>Why do furries exist?
Because when people have pets, but not close friends or teammates, those pets are the only physical contact they get with other living, sympathetic beings, and over time that physical contact becomes more meaningful and more sensual as they become lonelier, which causes them to be more sexually inspired by anthropomorphic art.

Now, if you mean a furry who didn't own a pet or like animals, then they simply are sexually inspired by the exotic, yet familiar sexual attributes of anthromorphs.

Or they grew up with Digimon or Sonic or something similar and liked it so much it seeped into their sexual thoughts while they were still developing, acting as a gateway into further fetishizing anthropomorphic beings.

Anything else?

Because baselines remind us of all the bad things in humanity and in ourselves.

>Why do bronies exist?
Because those who are weak willed deviants of society and cannot discipline or control themselves have found a group of people (the original bronies) that would accept them into the fandom without complaint, and they then abused that right by fetishizing it due to it's similarity to their original furry fetish.

Also, because they picked female voice actors who're skilled enough to inspire sexual excitement by quality of voice alone.

>that pic
THAT is an example of why normally socially normative people become furries while in the privacy of their own homes.
Because sometimes a well drawn and properly anthropomorphized animal is sexier than any supermodel in real life.
