Ugh... China has plenty of problems too bro. Aside from their rampant ethnocentrism, their income disparity is probably greater than in the states, their government is oppressive, and their GDP is greatly inflated by government mandated city building, which are largely unpopulated and will ultimately result in a housing bubble that will make the US housing bubble look like child's play.

Oh yeah, and they only own about 10% of the total US debt (probably less). Certainly it's the largest proportion held by any one country but it's by no means the "majority" of their debt. Most of the US's debt is held by its citizens themselves.
