they would pass right through each other, not completely erase matter. It sounds like fairytale magic, but it's part of Einstein's theory on general relativitiy that if you were to take 2 masses of equal size and have them hit each other at the same trajectory and velocity the matter would pass right through each other.

It's never been tested at it's currently impossible to have that scenario in an experiment and it's not known to have occured in the universe..
