I'm not because I don't let my intelligence interfere with my social interactions. They can know I'm smart, but I'm not gonna show it around like a douche unless someone makes an incorrect statement.

To answer the question about "why it is important to me", I should ask a question in response, why are women important to you?

if the answer is they are not, then and this happens all the time in coaching, there is no problem. many persons succumb to social thinking rather then there own and when enjoying there alone activities they confuse them for lonely, they confuse the fun they are having for the fun they by social construct, think they should be having.

if the answer is that they are indeed important to you, then the question itself should be sufficient for producing your own responses.
