Hey, I got out my calculator and I noticed this on the screen. Do you guys know what might have happened? How I can remedy it? Anything?

Yep.

Your calculator is fucked. That spot is gonna get worse until nothing on the screen is readable.

Short answer, no.

Long answer, nope.

Run a magnet over it and report back. Sometimes that can realign the pixels.

Can I just replace the LCD, or do I have to get a new calculator entirely?

Del system 32 for a new calculator to pop out of your CD drive.

This is your only shot, OP. But it's a longshot to say the least.

>> No.3669122

Inducing quantum resonance signals through the screen's crystal lattice should reconstruct the uniform matrix within the liquid crystals.
Of course, you would need a substantial potential difference within low- entropy domains, such as near absolute zero kelvinian temperatures in order for the quantum entanglement gradient to reach workable values. You should try putting it in the freezer for about 12 hours and hooking the battery terminals up to a 12 volt car battery (12 hours is roughly enough for 12 volts, due to ohm's law). It should fix your problem OP.

This.
Run the magnet under the back of the calculator, not the front as that is where other circuits are held, and the LCD itself is closer to the casing.

Hope it goes well.

Why don't you just get a smartphone with a graphing calculator app?

It's so crazy, it just might work.

paper towel in hot water, ring out, massage brushed area with warm towel..
hope to god you don't drip water inside the machine and that the heat will make the membranes of the LCD warp back into the right shape.

ITT: faggots thinking they're trolling OP.

Calculators aren't like PC's. They function on different sources and hardware.

Running a magnet over a PC will fuck it.
Running a magnet over a calculator will do nothing, except possibly fixing LCD tears.

OP can try it if he'd like. It won't do anything, but there is a slight chance of fixing the LCD.

Other than that, he's got no other options but to let it die.

But if OP uses a magnet, take out the batteries first.

Good luck with it, otherwise invest in a new calculator.

Fuck this shit, fucking magnets man.

Why do you even have magnets if you don't want to use them?

you forgot the superfluid helium bose-einstein condensate required for adequate heavy plutonium fusion with the high energy electrons in the 12 volt battery

But won't that disrupt the transducer's signal uniformication within the calculator's logic particulater?
