Nature works in surprisingly consistent ways.. I'm fairly sure that this could be a product of fractal geometry

Besides, circular growth like that gives you a) somewhere to start small, b) your own surface to grow on, c) rather direct formation and protection of vitals by your bulk that grows around it

Normally, intricate crop circles like these would be misshapen and not perfectly symmetrical if made by humans, and the logistics of getting it perfect without getting tough is very slim odds.
Not saying this is 100% proof of anything, but I doubt humans made this crop circles.
Or wallabies.
