Do you know what the worst part of all this is? After the hurricane blows over (see what I did there?), some fringe "Christian" group will attribute the hurricane to the sins of those living on the Eastern seaboard.

Why did they add catastrophic on the picture if they didn't use it on the map? For people to get a sense of security?

Meteorology-fag here.. Might actually work at TWC... might not.

NWS is fairly certain this thing is going to rape the I-95 corridor. The jaggoffs at TWC are hyping the fuck outta the storm though, the evil overlords at NBC demand it.

Now, I am hoping for some pure chaos on Saturday and Sunday.

This storm isn't going to have rape-winds. But it is going to flood the fuck outta things in-land. Six to Fifteen inch per hour rainfall rates to be expected.

The Senior Mets here are all walking around with raging weather boners about this storm.
