I went well full retard at the end

144 first try, was interrupted though. Got more each time I tried, stopped at 200. It's kinda BS though because you can train yourself for it. Also, if you know the difficulty of the problem, you can abuse it to get faster solutions. I was uncomfortable intuiting answers without double checking at first, but after a while I found it was abuse-able as the wrong answers were so obviously wrong that you could just look at them and, factoring in the difficulty, decide if it was right just because it wasn't REALLY wrong. I have an "officially tested" 'genius level IQ' (145+/3 standard deviations +, was in highly gifted as a kid) so if you did better than me, good job.

The only problem with this test is that it rewards guessing. Got a 260 just by guessing. Idk if there is a pattern or not, but once you get two in a row right of the same answer switch to the other one and keep guessing.

There is not much to it, at least in my country. I stopped paying the membership fee after one year, so technically I'm not a member any more.

You get:
- A small newspaper once every two months or so about Mensa stuff and general talk about intelligence and education and such.
- Access to Mensa forums online
- A diploma displaying your IQ and proof of membership
- Various perks depending on where you are located and the local branch of Mensa.

My branch doesn't really do stuff. I have had some beers with 5 to 10 people a couple of times and it was nice, but nothing special. I drink too much beer as it is. Met one girl there that I keep in touch with.

As most people can't really deal with Mensa in a good way I never talk about or use it in job interviews. My friends and family knows that I am a member and they use it to tease me when I screw up. It's good fun.
