Females can be a little harder. The most obvious way a female dolphin has of displaying her sexual interest is the pink-belly effect. I keep trying to get a better idea of how big a dolphin penis is. Here I took the length of the dolphin (slightly underestimated because there was never a good shot of his entire body in the frame). Then I took the length of his penis (slightly over estimated).

His penis here is approximately 10.5 his length. so given an average dolphin body length of 7~9 feet the estimated penis size would be about 9 inches. However, I still feel that is a over estimation and that my previous estimates are closer to the average penis size.
