What are some non-deterministic ways to commit suicide?

What are some deterministic ways to commit suicide?

The more creative the better. I'm looking for deterministic ways of dying that have very little chance of working. GOTTA PROVE TO MYSELF QUANTUM IMMORTALITY IS REAL YO!

You are connected to a ducking arm that lowers your head below the surface of a body of water, if you stay down long enough you will drown. The arm is connected, via a computer to a cell containing pollen grains suspended in oil under a microscope which is in turn connected to the computer via a microscope. The computer measures the time a certain sector of the microscope field contains a pollen particle. If that sector stays free of pollen for more than a set period of time, you are hoisted out of the water. If it is occupied with pollen you aren't and you eventually drown.

You are placed in a sealed box with a carbon dioxide scrubber and an oxygen tank sits outside the box, every time this machine:

rolls a 6 you get 1ml of oxygen (or an amount calculated so you have a 50% chance of getting enough oxygen to survive) pumped in. You also have a continuous supply of food and water and a toilet.

I realise that both of these deal with asphyxiation. I guess as an alternative you could use either the dice or the pollen as an input to control how much current you are shocked with.

To prove quantum immortality is real, you need a non-deterministic way to commit suicide that has very little chance of not working.

Satisfying this criterion is exposure to a normally fatal dose of radiation. It is possible that all the radiation will be emitted in the opposite direction. It also has the advantage of being directly quantum mechanical.

I don't think a non-deterministic way of committing suicide is possible.

You are trapped in a box with a vial of sarin. A device measuring the decay of a single neutron is hooked up to the release mechanism for the sarin.

Buy a geiger counter.
Next you have to do some research to ensure you get your preferred settings:
Measure for about 5 minutes. You should have got for example 100 counts.
So your number is now (for example) 95. (choose whatever you want!)
If the counter counts EXACTLY TO 95 in the next 5 minutes, you get shot in the head.

That's all and it's simple.
You can't control these atoms. It's just luck.

Or if you think you need a quick suicide:

99 Geiger counters wired to a bomb.
1 Geiger counter wired to a switch that turns off the signal from the other 99.
Given equal background radiation exposure on each Geiger counter, you have a 1% chance of surviving.

Eat alott of bananas. They contain potassium which has radioactive variaties. If they decay in your anus, you'll die of renal failure (eventually).

Sweet, that sounds like the most painless way to go if quantum immortality isn't real.

Then again the radiation could just hit every non-vital part of my body.

>> No.3560932

your method of suicide should correlate with whether quantum immortality exists or not, my greatest vice is that I'm too honest, I'd say there is no point from the scientific perspective since you will find out eventually but I think you should try anyway
