I was born 1924. Yesterday 1967 the 4 November, Portugal, I traveled through time and just arrived here in 2011. Now i discovered the Internet and i think its the most important thing in our History! I have to destroy it. Any thoughts?

When the .com boom happens, buy up domains that all the major companies will use, as soon as you can. Think shit like banks, retail stores, news organizations, as well as stuff like Google or Yahoo for safe measure (though those probably won't matter).

When the larger companies offer to buy the domains off of you, refuse. No matter how much money they offer you.

Without having a good domain name, the "early adopters" of the internet will probably just not bother, as (as far as they know), the internet is just a fad and it's not worth their trouble. Without these early adopters jumping on, other companies will also see that it doesn't really matter either, and will ignore the Internet. It's basically a domino effect from then on.
