Things would be otherwise if the board was a place to discuss mathematics and physical sciences rather than worshiping 'popular science' authors.

My suggestion is that all threads about Dawkins and co be forwarded to /lit/. It's a win-win situation; /sci/ would get rid of the fourteenyearsoldism and the boys at /lit/ would show OP that his idols are terrible writers and direct him to better authors.

it's not about rights. everyone has the right to opinions on anything and everything. but some opinions are better than others. claiming to have an educated or expert opinion on something because you're an expert on something barely related is just annoying.
