Actually, the article targets a projectionist view of a modern social movement. It also includes references of major change in self-claiming "static" religiously devout peoples. It literally falls under anthropology, and I wanted to discuss it as such. See OP. Since so many people in /sci/ can't remove their own personal emotions and bias from the equation when processing information, you're right, I shouldn't have posted it here. Maybe /b/ would treat it better. This is an unfortunate day for /sci/ since the most important question science was supposed to answer, "Who are we?" can't even be considered seriously in the science section of 4chan
