No it isn't it's right there god damn stop yelling

Oh wait it's not you yelling, it's the goddamn idiots afraid of the raydiayshun.

>no robots that can actually do anything useful Inb4 bomb disposal

What exactly do you think robots are?
They build nearly everything advanced nowadays.

>asian countries will surpass us within our lifetime.

You know, I don't support the concept of the technological singularity (transhumanism is an unrelated concept, you know), but I don't think it would care about nationality.

>no hoverjets

But there are personal ultralight helicopters if you have the money for them. Still not legal to fly around in urban areas however.

>no cure for Arthritis, Cancer, or even Hayfever

Cancer is a myriad of diseases.jpg
Allergies can be suppressed. "Curing" an allergy is illogical.

>no manned space missions anytime soon

The last space shuttle flight is in July, I believe.

>2011

Is not that far in "the future", despite what hollywood believed.

We don't need nuclear power we have perfectly viable green tech we just don't use it because it kills the profit motive. We do have jetpacks(Don't know exactly what you mean by hover jets) that work they are impractical so no one is improving them. It won't just be asian countries, Brazil is ahead of us in a lot of ways so are a lot of other countries out there.

Asian countries will not surpass any of the western worlds
And i'll tell you why, they have no creativity. The Chinese kill whatever innovation they have when they spend a year sixteen hours a day studying for that stupid test to get into college.
They are book smart but that's it. They are beyond ignorant.
