I think in the case of CO2, you body has some way of telling that it's displacing the oxygen, as far as helium, i'm not sure. You'd probably feel short of breath before you passed out.

I really don't think anyone could say for sure if it's a painless death unless someone who has been dead because of it comes back to life and tells us.

Potassium Cyanide is also painless, OP. Use that, just go into a jeweler and ask for some, say you're restoring Gold. It's cheap, and you can just mix it into water and drink some (a tablespoon or so will work, might wanna look up the exact dose)

Suicide is for people who only see locked doors when there are open windows everywhere. How can people seriously argue that suicide is logical? It seems like you are trying to justify what you want to do, so think over it once more.
