Intellect isn't the only factor.

But most of the qualities we like to cynically claim they're 100% about are more like bare minimum requisites. They don't need you to be a model, just handsome enough that you're attractive to them and they'd enjoy sex with you. And you don't need to be daddy warbucks either. They, like you, don't want to date someone who looks like they have no prospects and aren't going anywhere in life.

Beyond that it's mainly about charisma. Intellect is important but worthless unless you can explain things to them with awe and passion such that they feel as though you've reached up, grasped the stars and brought them down for her inspection.

Being funny is also pretty vital, but with respects to intellect, it really is about being able to make it as wondrous and exhilirating for her as it is for you. Do that and if you don't stop her she's liable to marry you.
