"The group Anonymous" is just a misunderstanding by the media. Its like calling all those people who protested in Egypt a group or organisation.

Grassroots protests are usually a large number of people acting towards some similar goal with no real communication, planing, coordination, or leadership. People who have never participated in a protest often fail to grasp this concept. They don't even believe what they see is possible without coordination and leadership.
