There is only so much matter in the universe, the brain is made of matter, therefore the amount of stupidity is limited by brain size, ergo bigger brains can be more stupid, ergo einstein was wrong.

Check mate atheists.

Not really... I think we've pretty much got it figured out why our intelligence is going down the shitter.

"The radioactivity also explains why the planet looks red."

it says nothing about pressure in the article. the pressure necessary to do that is nowhere near the amount that the earth could naturally generate. it'd have to be slammed by a fucking meteor in which case it'd be plausible

you'd basically need an asteroid strike on an impossibly rich uranium deposit, like dead on
then you'd need the reaction not to fissile

even then, you're probably not going to get anywhere near a megaton, and it'll be like a fart next to the, you know, MASSIVE ASTEROID IMPACT

>> No.3217199

>>3217175
How much do the tectonic plates weigh and how much force can they exert? Does a magntidue 8.0 earthquake in a concentrated area really exhibit less force than the average asteroid impact?

I think a tectonic plate could generate significantly more force than most asteroids, that said I don't know how much pressure is necessary, I just think it's silly to say the Earth "couldn't" generate enough force naturally, but asteroids could, unless by asteroid you mean planet sized objects hitting planet sized objects.

well there was an interesting theory about sustained fission reactions causing a decent clip of heat at the earth's core. Gravity provides about enough pressure, and the surrounding material whisks away the heat. you couldn't get much of a criticality incident, and even if the material blew itself apart, where's it going to go? right back into a spherical configuration at the core. it's got plenty of problems but it's an interesting theory.

this natural nuclear detonation at the surface though? supposedly bagillions of times lager than an asteroid impact? bullshit

Yeah, when I was 4. Then I asked any retard on the street, and they told me it was iron oxide in the soil.

I can see this will be used as justification in the future to either NOT go to Mars, or by the conspiracy theorists to say we never went to Mars in the event we actually get there...
