Hey /sci/, who pays for the United Nations stuff? I know that we volunteer members of our military and maybe some other military equipment, but like, who pays for the buildings, the janitors, the translators and all that other jazz?

>> No.3206489

world governments
which are paid by their citizens

>> No.3206490

Its members. Duh

>> No.3206491

>who pays for the United Nations stuff
The ones who pay for it are the one who are really running the show, the Illuminati.

what do you mean world governments?

well, ok, I'm trying to figure out if the UN is being paid of a volunteer basis or a legal basis. If it's volunteer then who is it that (forcibly) volunteer's our tax dollars?

Is it that hard?

Fool, the article is clearly misleading, we need a source that is not tainted by the jews.

What's funny is that directly correlates with countries with the highest national debt

You guys are being very destructive towards the sharing of information. If you care anything about your "message" then it serve you better if you don't just fly off the handle with baseless accusations.

Whoever signs the budget would be my guess.....

>> No.3206736 [DELETED]

>>3206685
well the answer is a bit silly, I would imagine the judicial branch has nothing to do with how much we send Israel.
Anyways who creates the initial figure written down on the budget?

>> No.3206756

well the answer is a bit silly considering we have a system of checks and balances and to say the least I would imagine the judicial branch has nothing to do with how much we send the United Nations.
Anyways who creates the initial figure written down on the budget?

I justed wanted to tell you that you're completely wrong, in terms of both the debt to GDP ratio and absolute values.

USA is number 1 (14T) and Japan is number 2 (<7T)... where does it start going wrong?

I meant 7T<x

Japan's no. 1. The other top 10 nations don't even contribute significantly to the UN budget.

I was talking about the actual amount not percent GDP nor per capita.
USA number 1, Japan number 2 and I wouldn't be surprised if the rest fell in line.

>> No.3206883

>>3206870
That's wrong too, and isn't a good measure of a country's debt relative to other nations. The figures also weren't per capita.

It is. The link I posted,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_public_debt

public debt = national debt.

>> No.3206943

>>3206914
yes public debt = sovereign debt = government debt = national debt but I'm not talking about national debt BY PERCENT GDP and I'm not talking about the EXTERNAL debt amount
I am talking about the actual NATIONAL debt amount.

>> No.3206987

>>3206943
you mean gross public debt, which is as actual as the debt to GDP ratio, only that it's less accurate and has little use in comparing a country's credit position to another's. Those figures I posted are the ones everyone uses. Deal with it.

>> No.3207008

>>3206987
no I mean national debt and preferably on an american dollar index.

>> No.3207027

>>3207008
Jesus Christ, it's another way to refer to government debt, and "american dollar index" is for assessing the USD's value relative to other currencies, which isn't the same as debt. Please take an introductory macroeconomics or finance course.

>> No.3207054

>>3207027
dude you're like avoiding everything I'm talking about..
and trying to introduce all this economics jargoning to make the discussion incomprehensible while I'm trying to make it comprehensible. Yeah I haven't taken a macroeconomics course and you shouldn't have too either if you want to understand this issue because it's like, PUBLIC and shit.

USD index, national debt
