Not sure what you're getting at, OP, but I'd say the person who created such a robot is pretty sick.

Such a machine would have no value to anyone except for sadists and pedophiles.

I'd be creeped out as hell, but knowing that it wasn't a real girl being tortured and abused I would be ok with it existing. In fact, I'd think of a way to cause shenanigans or troll other people with it.

Like cut off the part at the end revealing it's just a realistic android, then plant it on a computer belonging to someone I don't like.

Actual hard science threads don't die quickly because /sci/ does not have the rigorous, real educational background to discuss anything in them. At best they'll quietly fall off the front page and at worst it'll be sage-bombed with HOMEWORK THREAD GET THE FUCK OUT

If it's got nothing going on upstairs, ie, it's just an advanced chatbot, who cares? It's not really worse than drawing or writing guro or vore. Not my cup of tea, but come one, it's just a robot.

It it either definitely has genuine human or animal level emotions, or it might and we just don't know yet, THEN it's absolutely awful. No different from torturing anything flesh and blood.

Like, would the outrage you feel when you initially see the video carry on afterwards when you find out it was a robot or would you cool down knowing its just a robot.

Depends on whether the robot's mimicking is based on an actual emotional system.

There are two ways to do this: create a robot that coldly simulates, or a robotic brain based off the neuron structure of mammals that has emotions etc.

Both are possible, the second should have the same rights as humans.

But that's my logical assessment, if I saw even a thoughtless robot used like that I'd feel angry just because of the visual cues.
