The worst thing I had to deal with was control theory. Trying to work in both the frequency and time domains simultaneously and understanding the up-to-20-order systems that require filtering or control inputs....well, your mind just kind of congeals.

Couple that with the wonders of linear algebra (such as stability parameters) and you will jump for joy......off a bridge.
