Those methodists are nutty. The Genesis story isn't supposed to be taken literally. When Cain gets sent out, he goes out amongst the other people and he worries that someone will kill him, which is why God give him is mark. Obviously, there were other people besides just Adam and Eve's kids.

As I always point out, Adam isn't even a name. It is the Hebrew word for "mankind". Stop taking literally what wasn't meant to be read literally.
