Hi have a question, I've read on multiple sources that earth's atmosphere once contained a larger ammount of oxygen and this allowed insects to become larger because their respiratory organs could distribute more oxygen to their circular system.
My question is:
Where is that oxygen now, was it blown away by solar winds ? is it located in minerals, if so why ?

It has to go somewhere. Carbonate is not the only oxygen containing mineral. (Magnetite, Ferrite, silicates)
Living organisms also incorporate oxygen. It's still more plausible than a solar wind blowing away a part of the atmoshere
