Doing a servey for my sociology class. I want to see if scientists are really cold and heartless. Most of my sociology teachers arent so I thought maybe its just in other fields.

1) Whats your major?
2) Do you have emoshions?

If you were in a real science, you would know that directly asking a person what you want to know will not yield a valid answer. Instead, you could ask people what they would do in a certain emotionally taxing situation; for example if they would kill a small child to same themselves.

Scientists and the elite are generally shunned and routinely rejected by society. So I suppose if many of us seem cold, it may have more to do with some of us necessarily learning coldness as a coping mechanism, rather than logical-mindedness implying cold-heartedness.

Also, that difficulty might be experienced in showing emotion need not necessarily imply absence of emotion. There's probably more likely to be a correlation between intelligence and social anxiety and depression that leads to intimacy problems, rather than it being true that intelligence = lack of emotions.

Anyway, hope this helps with your study.

Took quite some time to get all those to be honest. I'm not some kind of genius.

I actually did all this for personal interest, then thought about making a business, internet company, something like that.
I ended up workin for my government though. Pretty content.

Was pretty funny. I applied for a job at a smaller telecommunication company. Turned out it was just a "letterbox company" (not sure how this is called in english) set up by the secret service.
Shit was awesome.

What is a letterbox company?

>> No.3095601

>>3095583

You have the adress of some company and send them your application. The letter goes to their letterbox, which only exists for a limited amount of time. The company does not actually exist, it is only a cover-up for someone else using that letterbox.

Some companies use this to avoid paying taxes. Agents use this as well. It's more or less like you shout out "Hey, we are an awesome company. If you fulfil our requirements and want to get shitloads of money write us at ..." etc..
