This is not a homework thread.

The answer's actually 44/3. How the fuck did I get 2?

>> No.3065376

If the answer is '2', then I assume you did it wrong..

you're welcome... see, I knew you did it wrong...

did this still comes out to 14/3
fuck it

>> No.3065456

Well, for one, 600^4/(300^4) does not equal 2

Really now? Enlighten me.

He's right, but still wrong. What he stated doesn't equal 2, but what's written down is completely different.

>> No.3065484 [DELETED]

<div class="math">\frac{600^4}{300^4}=\frac{(2\cdot 300)^4}{300^4} = \frac{2^4 \cdot 300^4}{300^4}=2^4</div>

>> No.3065490

>>3065484

600^4 =/= 2*300^4

>> No.3065503

>>3065395
after this the last line ends up being

(14n^4+24n^3-7n^2)/(3n^4)
=14*inf/3*inf
=14/3

Still not the answer of 44/3

just encase anybody cares...

600^4/300^4 = (600/300)^4 = 2^4 = 16

Unless I'm retarded I guess...

You forgot to multiply by pi. Everybody knows you have to multiply by pi.

>> No.3065548

OP, is there a specific way you're supposed to be doing this question? because I just did it in like 4 lines using only the initial function and first semester, first year calc... I'm assuming they want you to do it the way you're doing it?

>> No.3065721

To those that are saying that 600^4/300^4 does not equal 2, that was my first thought as well, obviously you're either trolling or haven't looked at the rest of the equation. It's not 600^4/300^4, it's 6*infinity^4/3*infinity^4

>infinity inside the expression
