No. Studies have been done on this, castration has no effect in humans other than eliminating the erections you pop in your sleep. Hence why the developed world doesn't do castration for sex offenses anymore: It doesn't work. The only way cutting off your balls is going to stop you from having sexual thoughts, urges, and desires is if you chop them off before you hit puberty.

The effect is similar for other primates too, although they at least appear to lose sexual interest after a long period of time (with chimps its 5 years IIRC). There are animals that do lose sexual interest completely after castration (such as rats) but they're far removed from primates.

The adrenal glands still produce some testosterone. The adrenal glands are the sole source of testosterone for women. You will still get hard but several orders of magnitude less than before.

on topic, i think its been said but i think desire would drop dramatically since less testosterone but but since you still have your brain (the thing that tells your balls to make testosterone and sperm and all that shit) you probably wouldn't stop having sexual thoughts altogether.

theres a high chance you'd just end up quite frustrated.

Perfect example was the Castrati singers in medieval Europe. Boys were castrated before puberty to make their voices higher pitched. They also ended up very tall (like 7 feet), since sex hormones are what causes your growth plates to seal up.

Sexual desires are not produced in your sexual reproductive organs. They are a product of the brain. EVEN if you had your balls cut off, you would still feel the need to express your sexual desires; though you wouldn't be able to.

IIRC, they can now give you hormone therapy that lets you continue to have the same urges and "function" much as before, though you won't ejaculate when you orgasm.
