So I've been underemployed for about 2 years now since the recession, feel like a complete failure. With a BS in engineering I should be able to land a job, but I have a sub par work history and lack charisma so the few interviews I've gotten haven't gone well.

Anyone else with an "in demand degree" share my experience? How big of a failure am I?

Pic related, it's me at my current shitty IT job.

I have a structural engineering degree.

I got hired right out of college.
