Truth. Humans are somehow scared of change these days, it's fucking nuts.

Basically, same goes with that oil accident by BP. Nature doesn't care about that, there will be forms of life eating that oil, it will vanish and nature will flourish again after enough time has passed. It is only us who is really affected.

The earth is a very sensitive and balanced eco-system. A change as drastic as all the polar ice caps melting would change the salinity, level, and temperature of the ocean, resulting in detrimental and catastrophic consequences.

I'm actually pro global warming. I think higher global temperatures will produce more livable biomes all over the place, and really sort of "boost mother nature's odds" against humanity. We're still in a mini-ice age, after all, and warmer climates are more conducive to life.

More water, more heat- I think it will result in more animals and more life and a better world after nature takes its course.
