Why is that whore sticking the negative sign in front of the du?

>> No.3003756

>>3003744
Because du is -dx. And dx is then -du.

Then it should be:

<span class="math">\displaystyle u = 1 - x
<span class="math">\displaystyle u' = -1dx
<span class="math">\displaystyle -du = dx
<span class="math">\displaystyle -\int_{1}^{\frac{1}{4}}\frac{1 - u}{\sqrt{u}} du
The aforementioned whore even moved the negative outside the integral while rewriting/simplifying the numerator.

she removed the minus sign because she reversed the limits of integration

What are you smoking.

And what the FUCK is she about to write out? Why is she sticking a parenthesis there when you should just integrate the terms separately.

And the negative sign disappeared again.

BITCH GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN.

You mean like how she decides to change the bounds of integration when she could have just re-substituted before evaluation of the definite integral?

Changing the bounds of integration is a sign of mouth breathing. Get it checked.

Admittedly, though, she does use <span class="math">\displaystyle \int_{a}^{b} f(x)dx = -\int_{b}^{a} f(x)dx
...but that still doesn't mean you stick the negative sign in front of the fucking du.

1:48 "And I'm going to take the minus out front"

Oh, you mean like you should have done to begin with?

>> No.3004030

And she doesn't properly format her bounds of integration after she performs the integration in terms of u.
