You could apply now. Summer classes down here start on the 9th. You can apply to a class and drop it within a week of the semester starting.

AP credits are not used like that. A college will evaluate them and tell you whether they accept them or not. I passed AP bio and world history but the college told me neither were accepted under the computer science program.

I change my major to comp. engineering a year later and of course that is 'acceptable' under this program. Generally, it's just a method used to get more money. AP bio = general bio 1 and 2. I only had to take general bio 1. Similar story with history.
