Interestingly enough, plasma physics is one of the only courses that has a dual NE/physics designation at my school. My university is very prolific in nuclear activities (we had the first civilian university reactor program), so HUGE distinctions are made between nuclear and non-nuclear classes. Hell, even for our physical design courses, we have classes that are distinct between mechanical engineering classes that cover the same material.

Case in point, the heat transfer is a mech. engi. class I'm taking to take care of an engineering elective. I figure it'd be easy because the first half of reactor design covers all the methods of heat transfer and I'm about to be done with it.
