I'm actually trying to write a short story on this one:

Something goes wrong at a virology lab, and several scientists are infected with a virus that gives them irresistable urges to bite those who are not infected. The virus is spread through bodily fluids, which causes outbreaks to flare up across the globe, triggering hysteria.
However, the infected are entirely normal otherwise; when they aren't within a few yards of someone who's not infected, they behave perfectly rationally, and are for all intents and purposes the same people they were before being infected. All the virus does is make them weird bitey compulsions when the uninfected get to close.
Society at large: wat do?

Transformers, Except the transformers are actually fighting agains megaVolt, with there flux powers. Eventually Volts is resisted by ohms, But the capacitors fight back.

Eventually a fuse burns out, and then you realized what the movie was ACTUALLY about.
