Ok, today a professor at Uni said loud and clear:
"No living being can survive past 140 farenheight"

can u guys help me compile a BIG list with things that can survive temperatures over 140 farenheight, so I can print it and put it in his mailbox?

(pic = my reaction to his sentence)

140F is considered by the fda to be the safe minimum to store cooked food at. As at this temperature rang little will grow.

Alternatively 40f is the safe maximum for similar reasons.

Im the guy who posted the world sauna championships thing.

Why not? Thats an example of people surviving exposure to +140F temperatures?

>> No.2888672

>>2888659
Yeah, OP here, that was the best example, when I tried to joke about it with my coleagues I was like "Humans can live past that, and tons of bacteria too!" and they were like "no, discovery channel stuff doesnt count"... bunch of cocksuckers.
But, yeah, thank you, anon!

Go for it, I was just trying to explain what the statement might have been based off of.

Which most people get wrong, because 140f doesnt actual kill much. Which is why most chickens and porks have suggested cooking temperatures of 155-165. 140f just puts things in hibernation.
