I want to go to University of Washington, but I want to avoid out-of-state tuition costs. I will have enough debt as it is from Med School. I will be going into the Air Force for 4 years for the G.I Bill (and travel, exp, benefits, and financial stability when I start college). Within those 4 years, I have no idea where I will be and how state residency will work.

All I could find is "Under the law, "legal residence" is the place that the military member intends to live after they separate or retire from the military. It's the place that they consider their "permament home."" Seems like a catch-22 because anyone can say they intend on living somewhere.

I do have friends that live in Washington. Is there anything I can do regarding that?

I was in the AF as an Intelligence Analyst. You can move to Washington and receive all your benefits there regardless. Federal bills apply in all 50 states.

Not asking about benefits...I'm asking about claiming residency in a state I've never been to so I don't have to pay as much my first year in college.

Apart from the fact that you'll likely die in the military, even if you don't, just the fact that you thought of enlisting means you're too retarded to enter medical school.

American English = Only Relevant English on planet.

Britfags just add shit to their words only to seem to different, most of their language is pretty much wrong.
