Hey /sci guys I just made an observation and I wasn't sure who to ask about it. Usually I go on /fit or /co so I'm not to familiar with the board, so pardon me if I'm out of place. My observation was this. When ever I open up a bag of oreo's and commence with dipping them in milk I've noticed that the first oreo and some times the second oreo always get soggy faster than the oreo's that come after them. I've noticed this not only with brand new bags but also with bags that have been opened and then shut again for a period of time. the oreos that follow the first and second oreo always seem to stay crispy in the area closest to the cream. I have two theories.
1. The temperature of the milk rises after the first two oreos and some how effects it's ability to make oreos soggy.
2. It's purely psychological.
My question is does any one have any other theories? And has anyone ever experienced this before?

Don't let these fags intimidate you.

Think for a minute about how to carry out an experiment to test these hypotheses.
First, you need persons other than yourself willing to eat oreos after dipping them in milk.
Let's come up with a design...

finally some one who isn't a dick.
My girlfriend agreed with me when I brought it up to her. So I'm pretty sure it's not psychological as far as a test I could get several glasses of milk with each one refrigerated immediately before the dipping of each oreo. That would determine the milk theory. but I just ate a bunch of oreos so I'll do it some other time. I just came on here to see if any one else had experienced it.
