Communism not only will work in theory -- it will work in small groups of people. Unfortunately, we have too many people in the world and in each country for it to not be a "survival of the fittest" system

If the group is large enough, a few exceptions do not matter.

One of the main problem with the common criticism of communism is that they are based on the political standards of the current capitalist systems. One of those is the necessity to have control through systematic individual punishment. That pushed for instance the "zero tolerance" penal policies in the 90s. A communist society should actively try to avoid this, and concern itself with social facts instead of individual actions.

In theory communism is a terrible idea, I don't get this common phrase that it looks good in theory. There's never been a theory that more blatantly ignores individual action, it's a pathetic attempt to group wildly different people as some common group or class. All the convolution of modern society prevents people from addressing the actual goal. Communism works in theory and in my opinion, the only way to run a government. It really proves that life is a piece of shit and no matter the work you do, you will get shit in turn. People want to live fancy lives, I poop on them.
