THESE ARE THE PRIMARY PROBLEMS, DUDE. LOTS OF GOVERNMENT TYPES WORK GREAT IN THEORY, UP TO AND INCLUDING AUTOCRACY, BUT THEY'RE NEVER REALLY IMPLEMENTED THE WAY THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE, DUE TO HUMANITY'S FUCKED UP NATURE.

THIS ARGUMENT APPLIES TO ALL GOVERNMENT TYPES EQUALLY, OF COURSE.

A socio-economic theory composed of perfect human beings who are the epitome of moral righteousness doesn't have any problems whatsoever, well I never.

It's one thing to protest something. It's quite another to offer a viable alternative, which at present is Solar/Wind (which is only viable if you wouldn't mind paying $10 for a single kilowatt-hour), Nuclear (which is a bigger bogeyman than oil when it comes to environmentalists), or Coal (lol).

No! You're a tool. You hate free energy, because you think it is right, that tyrannical governments such as Saudi-Arabia, Libya and Russia call the shots, just because they control energy resources.

You think it is right that the pollution levels in major industrial areas are so high, that peoples health is permanently damaged.

You are so unbelievably stupid. Sadly the world is full of dumbasses like you so oil and gas companies decide what goes and what doesn't.

Also, you don't think the West would jump at opportunities to become independent from Saudi Arabia and Venezuelan? The reason no one's selling free energy is it doesn't exist. Somewhat true. I don't know the English word for what is going on. I actually do know what is going on.

I took a ridiculous concept - a perpetuum mobile - and started to defend it with emotional arguments and logical fallacies. Then I wrote about the problems in the world and offered an alternative world, with perpetuum mobile, that would not have these problems.

I have seen these threads before. Just not in this sauce.

Communism not only will work in theory -- it will work in small groups of people. Unfortunately, we have too many people in the world and in each country for it to not be a "survival of the fittest" system

As soon as we start sending humans into space, we can raise children born on those missions to value communism and, with a sufficiently small population, it will work

If the group is large enough, a few exceptions do not matter.

One of the main problem with the common criticism of communism is that they are based on the political standards of the current capitalist systems. One of those is the necessity to have control through systematic individual punishment. That pushed for instance the "zero tolerance" penal policies in the 90s. A communist society should actively try to avoid this, and concern itself with social facts instead of individual actions.

It's not a good idea in the least, it's the result of putting empathy over reality.

A revolution of the mind that spread across the world is the only hope for sustaining a world for future generations of this species. All the convolution of modern society prevents people from addressing the actual goal. Instead of trying to sell as many people on what you envision the big picture to be, invent something to answer the question, and you'll get more questions that you never even thought of. And instead of bitching about that technology not existing yet, fucking help out. Its not that communism could or couldn't work, its that we aren't the kind of people in general for anything we've tried so far to work. We're proud of how far we've come, but the blinders come up when it comes to how we've retarded our own progress. Unsolved grievances resulting as the byproduct of what we describe as success.

TL;DR - Fuck this thread.

>> No.2778556

Communism works in theory and in my opinion, the only way to run a government. It really proves that life is a piece of shit and no matter the work you do, you will get shit in turn. People want to live fancy lives, I poop on them.

>> No.2778606

>>2778008
The thing is, however, your life of "opulent splendor" could be achieved with much less money. The surplus you find yourself with just gets put back into savings that will never be used. This takes money out of the hands of the middle class, the people with the large numbers required to spend such an exorbitant amount of money. When they have less purchasing power, there is less of a demand for goods. When there is less demand, supply is subsequently dropped. This means laying people off, lowering wages, cutting hours, &c., all of which further reduce demand. Suddenly, you have no demand for products, millions of starving people, and a lot of useless money. What have you accomplished? You've done nothing but destroy the economy with your false sense of superiority brought about due to your money.
